(it's)clear(i have a)plan
i have been surfing around and found the answer to better monitoring of my monthly cycle: the clearplan easy fertility monitor. methinks it's better than the ovulation test sticks that i had used last month. the downside is, it's retailing for slightly more than 300 bucks at guardian, but as luck would have it, i found a great local website that sells it online for a cheaper price. i tried bidding for it on ebay (it's largely available in america) but that grew tiresome. plus the shipping costs are expensive. so now i'm going to wait and see whether we'll hit jackpot this month with our russian roulette routine. :p if that doesn't work out, i'll have a go at that clearplan monitor.
by the way, i think my uterus is tilted (retroverted). it doesn't feel central, it's located more to the left side, and the cervical opening is higher than where it should be. hmmm. i wonder if this is a contributing factor to my endless wait. i would have this checked out of course. dr aziz, here i come!

Have you thought about NFP? Hee, figured since u r on an acronym roll I might as well join in! NFP -Natural Family planning...ask ur gyne lah. It's supposed to help u track ur FC - fertility cycle.
wey auntie! my very pregnant auntie! here you are at last. :) well, well, nfp aye. ok will ask my gynae. did u use that urself?

Hi rouge!!!
I love this blog of yours. Thanks for starting it. Being married a few weeks after you, I am also trying to get pregnant... Been trying and trying and trying but to no avail. Still trying though. I mean I have done wat most website suggested. Check the ovulation period, and stuff like that. After the ovulation period is over, the waiting time is a killer. I will definitely be coming over here very often.
i'm so glad you to have such a quick response already! i think having a support group is important, cos i think only people who are in your shoes will be able to understand what you are going through. i've been to so many american forums, and they have TTC support groups, which i thought was a good idea. what you need is just an open mind. you know lah, singaporeans.. not everyone is outspoken. ok, if anybody needs to share anyhting at all, you are welcome to do it here. :)

precious: ooh, dr aziz is very famous you know! he has a clinic at kembangan plaza. he's always in tv and the papers. i'd prefer a female gynae, but i'm willing to try him out for pre-preg check-ups and advice. nak jadi kawan2? can!! hehe
by the way, i'm trying out alternate days for this month too. we'll see eh?
tell me about it. no matter how much you keep your expectations low, once you see that negative sign, your heart just drops to the floor. :(

Heloo! Me also tgh pergi urut ni for similar matters like yours. Well, it may help you know tapi kena tahan sakit lah, coz its painful!!! Scientifically, I am not sure how it helps, maybe promotes better blood circulation, but partly, its the usaha that matters more I think. So, cuba lah sedaya upaya. God knows best sista!
Dew
dew, that's why... it must be very painful right. and i have such a low threshold for pain. nevermind, in the name of ikhtiar & usaha, i'm willing to go through all that torture!
precious, will do. if i get any info on urut, i will email you k. in the meantime, enjoy your alternate days. haha.
ok ok i *really* wanted to tell u abt this urut thing, but it slipped my mind... one of my colleagues had been TTC, and urut was the last resort after a few yrs. hardly two or three sessions later, it worked. and, ahem, her hubby TOO went for the urut. hehe. i'll ask her for u.
erk! hubby pon kena massage? which part ni? don't think dh will go for that! hahaha

ok, i've emailed to u the urut contact. anyone else interested, pls email me: izadnhana@yahoo.com.
it's in clementi, and a session costs $40 (with appointment), $50 (walk-in). each session abt 1hr each, and recommended to bring ur partner. (so since both are massaged, each can't blame the other, i guess?) she went three times and recommended her friends too.
alah, i don't think it'll be a lady who will urut the guy lah.. hehe.
oooh nymph, i didn't know you are also TTC! welcome to the club... i guess? :p
